The history of Jews in Malaysia is as short as the community is small. The first Jew to live in Malaysia was Ezekiel Menasseh, an Iraqi Jew who lived there as the only for decades. More Jews moved to the Asian country after WWI but the community was evacuated during WWII. Today, approximately 100 Jews live in Malaysia, most of whom originally came from Russia. Despite the tiny Jewish presence in the country, anti-Semitism is rampant there.
